Why This Matters

Earlier this year, I received a call.

A pregnant mother and her toddler needed help creating an exit plan from an unsafe environment.

Hospital staff had already recognized the danger.
A social worker had been involved.
Child Protective Services had been contacted.

And then they asked if I could help.

With little more than a car and a willingness to show up, we created a safe place for this small family.

Over the past two months, a circle of support has formed around them — welcoming the birth of a baby girl while giving their mother the space she needs to heal physically, emotionally, and financially.

But no one heals alone.

It takes a village.

That’s why we created the VillaVision Giving Tree.

Each item below represents a simple but meaningful way to support this family during one of the most important healing years of their lives — from diapers for Baby Girl, to toys for Toddler Boy, to a much-needed spa day for Mama.
