Hi, I’m Dr. Karen Kramer — a Grief Alchemist, Hypnotherapist, and author of Healthy Grief.
My work has always centered around helping people navigate life’s most difficult transitions — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
But what I’ve come to understand is this:
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation.
Especially for women with children.
Because when a woman is struggling, her children feel it.
And when she is supported, they begin to thrive.
🌿 That’s why I created VillaVision —
to build a community that becomes the village I know is needed.

This Year's Family
Each year, our community rallies around one family navigating a major life transition.
In 2026, we are supporting a Mama —
with a Toddler Boy and Baby Girl —
as she transitions out of domestic violence into a new beginning.
✨ No one should have to do this alone.
The Story
Earlier this year, I received a call.
A pregnant mother and her toddler needed help creating an exit plan from an unsafe environment.
Hospital staff had already recognized the danger.
A social worker had been involved.
Child Protective Services had been contacted.
And then I was asked if I could help.
With little more than a car and a willingness to show up, we created a safe place for this small family.
Over the past two months, a circle of support has formed around them — welcoming the birth of a baby girl while giving their mother the space she needs to heal physically, emotionally, and financially.
🌿 But no one heals alone. It takes a village.
