The Purpose
This year, It Takes a Village is devoted to advancing awareness, education, and compassionate support surrounding domestic violence—while expanding the conversation into what truly creates safe, healthy, and empowered lives.
This experience is designed to:
- Illuminate awareness and fund education that empowers women to recognize, navigate, and rise beyond crisis into healthy relationships
- Provide meaningful support for women and families in transition, offering stability, resources, and hope during pivotal moments
- Activate a collective movement by expanding a network of individuals committed to healing, advocacy, and generational change

In Partnership With
No Silence No Violence
We are honored to partner with No Silence No Violence (NSNV), a San Diego-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
Through advocacy, education, and direct support services, NSNV helps women and children transition from crisis to stability—while working to reduce the incidence, trauma, and stigma of domestic violence through awareness, empowerment, and systems change.
The Village Giving Tree offers guests an opportunity to contribute toward educational resources and support for families in crisis facilitated through NSNV.
Tax-Deductible Giving:
Contributions made through No Silence No Violence may be eligible for a tax deduction in accordance with IRS guidelines. NSNV maintains full discretion and control over all donated funds to ensure they support survivors in need and expand their community education efforts.
Jessica Yaffa
Founder of No Silence No Violence
This partnership is led by Jessica Yaffa whose work is rooted in transforming both personal and systemic responses to domestic violence.
Through survivor-informed education, advocacy, and community resources, Jessica and her organization are committed to breaking cycles of abuse, reducing stigma, and equipping individuals, families, and communities with the tools to recognize, prevent, and heal from domestic violence—creating pathways from crisis to long-term stability.
